Farewell!

Farewell, Merry Followers!  I don't like to say it, but I'm going to stop blogging (and following blogs).  Why?  Well, to be quite honest, I spend too much time online.  And, it's not as if I've been a very faithful blogger anyway!  However, I want to thank all of your for taking an interest in my blog. :D Who knows, we might bump into each other in the future once I learn to manage my time better.  But until then, farewell!

Good

There's a difference between feeling good and actually being good.  

One involves following feelings while the other chases righteousness.

One is satisfied in the moment while the other often doesn't feel good at the time.

One is empty in the long run.  The other.....satisfying.

Doesn't that sound good? 

What if we did the right thing even if it didn't feel nice?  Chose not to just live in the moment? 

On our own, we can't.  

But we know someone who can help us. We just have to ask Him.  

So, really, there's nothing holding us back.

Seriously.

   

Goodbye Hair....

Yup, I did the unthinkable.  I cut my own hair.  Ok, maybe I am over dramatizing considering that it was more like a trim.  Still, though, that was a big step in my hair history!  Believe or not, (for those of you who know my mum) she actually put me up to it.  Below, are pictures of the event. :D

Post worth sharing!

The Death of Pretty.  Thought provoking title, huh?  That's the name of a post I think is worth sharing.  Let me just say, you all have got to read this!  It is encouraging and eye opening.  Definitely worth your next five minutes.

For Shame!

Oh yes, I'm posting another poem. :D  I really like this poem, too. :D  If you take anything from it, I hope that it encourages you to never to give up doing something just because its hard and to always push on despite difficulty.  So, without further ado, I present "For Shame!":

 Merry followers!  I am late!  Very late on posting!  Thank you for sticking with me despite that.  Right now, I'm in Utah visiting/helping my Grandparents.  (More on that later, though.....)  Today, I wanted to share with you something that I found.  A couple of monthes ago, I was at my Grandma's house (I've been visiting her a lot) flipping through one of her many magazines and came across a wonderful quote.  It was inspiring.  After I read it, I voted it as one of my favorite quotes!  Hence, I want to share it with you all.  Let me know what you think :D
